Such is the love of Breaking Bad fans, and New York fans in particular, for everything to do with the show that fans are crazy for anything to do with it so 2 events of note have happened recently.
Firstly, memorabilia from the show was donated to Albuquerque-area Goodwill stores and it was immediately snapped up by adoring fans. New Yorkers I bet you heardf about it too late or there would ahve been hoards catching planes up there.
Secondly a New York store, Goorin Hat Shops with 2 stores in Brooklyn and 1 in the West Village, created 1895 copies of the Heisenberg hat, a black wool porkpie had with a grosgrain trim, worn by Walter in Breaking Bad, and they were immediately sold out even though each was priced at $212.
However the whole hullabaloo has brought this wonderful hat shop to the notice of New Yorkers.
Customers rave about the service and the quality of the stock in this shop and recount story after story of people going in ‘just for a look’ and coming out with not just 1 hat but several. And if you decide to visit while you are there beg them on bended knee to produce another run of the Heisenberg hats so we all can buy one.
Take yourself down to any of their stores in New York, have a great experience and check out your willpower in the hat buying department. LIKE finding out about great New York Specialty Shops
