Photoville 2013 is underway in Brooklyn Bridge Park right now and is due to wind up on Sunday 29th September.
It’s a completely FREE event meant for professional and amateur photographers and also those just starting out and wanting to pick up hints from others.
It’s all housed in a Pop-Up built of containers, spread out over quite an area with exhibitions, talks and classes and everything to help you interact with fellow photographers, celebrate and learn.
Over the next couple of days there are sessions on copyright, creating photobooks for profit, making money from your phone, all designed to support photographers in making a living from their art.
There’s a Peer Review night on Friday so you can get feedback on your pics while happily snacking and drinking in the beer garden that is part of the whole installation
