As you can imagine the competition between Major Chains in NYC such as Taco Bell and Chipotle is fierce.
And it had looked as though Taco Bell had stolen a march on it’s rival with a cheap Quesarito.
Yes a cross between a burrito and a quesadilla supposedly containng the best aspects of both.
It’s a burrito filled with seasoned beef, premium Latin rice, chipotle sauce and reduced fat sour cream then wrapped in a grilled cheese quesadilla. Sounds great doesn’t it, and it only costs $2.
Well it seems to have spectacularly failed to live up to it’s hype. Have a good look at the video. It’s a review by 2 unbiased customers and it was nearly a complete bust.
There was no meat to speak of, so it was basically cheese in a burrito/quesadilla casings with a little bit of heat thrown in. Not even worth $2. And this is the city with a huge number of cuisine options. Sorry it’s a New York wipeout guys and gals.
