NYC has the most complex and exciting art scene in the world. The sheer size, quality and range of what is on offer surpasses anything elsewhere. Anything that comes under the banner of art from painting, scultpure, photography, installations, fashion, street paintings and art and craft fairs NYC has it all in abundance.
The issue is not where do you go to see it, it’s how on earth do you choose between the 1,000′s of choices on offer. There’s amazing museuems galore, art fairs that are stunning in the range and quality they offer, art galleries littering the streets of Chelsea and elsewhere, there’s street art everywhere you go and more craft fairs than any one person could visit in a week.
So this is not so much a ‘you must see this’ guide as a list of resources which will allow you to search for what interests you the most and follow up on it.
