It is chock full of tiny furniture, bric a brac for tiny houses and tiny figures which are doing what people do, all set out in dioramas that are just fascinating to look at. If you want to see Manhattan spread out before you then catch a cheap ferry ride ($2 return) over to Governor’s Island. It’s a 172 acre paradise for families with hammocks, children’s playgrounds, bikes and quadbikes to rent, a castle. a fort, a treehouse and cannons galore. Kid friendly food is reaily available.
