Ramen eating is one of the foundation skills needed to be a New Yorker. It is a ridiculously popular NYC dish and is served at a huge number of totally excellent places serving this nectar of the gods (plus all the stuff they put in it) to millions of adoring fans.
But how do you eat it without looking stupid, burning your mouth or slurping too loudly?
The 3 basic ramen eating moves are: 1. eat quickly 2. slurp loudly, yes as loudly as you can and finally 3. when you get to the end and there’s still lovely tasty broth left in the bowl, pick up that bowl and drink it down.
