If you have a burning desire to stay in the most expensive hotel suite in NYC you will need to ante up $50,000 a night which is a $15,000 increase on what it would have cost you in 2013 and $10,000 more than in 2014. Since the suite hasn’t changed in any way I guess those increases represent what is happening to top end hotel suite prices right now.
For your money you will be staying at the Four Seasons Hotel at 57 E 57th St between Madison nd Park Avenues in their Ty Warner suite on the topmost floor of the hotel, the 52nd.
Of course included in the price will be a ride to your suite in a private elevator, a Rolls Royce Chauffeur (one presumes the hotel throws in the Rolls Royce as well) a personal trainer, a 24 hr butler and an art concierge. What would be the duties of the art concierge: swapping out one set of priceless art works for others if you don’t like the original selection?
Now the Four Seasons hotel is close to Central Park, theaters and shopping and it’s clear from the video that the views from the suite are exceptional. Of course very, very few of us could even contemplate paying this price for hotel accommodation so seeing the video of the suite is a delicous bit of voyeurism. “Ah, so that’s how a small fraction of the other half lives!”
The suite is magnificent but the rest of the hotel gets good reviews, though given that it is a self-styled 5 star place to lay your head, you will be paying a higher than average price for any room. See the second video on the Four Seasons for an idea what you get for less than $50,000 a night
