Over the years Duane park, in it’s Tribeca incarnation, built up an enviable reputation for a relaxced night out watching Burlesque and having a good meal at the same time.
Now this well regarded eatery has moved to The Bowery and has kept the Burlesque but added on Poetry as well, though on different nights, see here.
Duane Park has long been enjoyed for both it’s good service and it’s great food as well as it’s Burlesque.
Current reviewers find all elements of having a good time here are still in place with the added delight of poetry on Sunday and Monday nights.
There is still a very funny MC, good live music and a New Orleans feel to the decoration, so as we were but now the poetry dinners as well.
The popularity of Duane Park seems to be following the trajectory of Burlesque itself, a growing fan base with a particular appeal to women who are delighting in an open celebration of their feminity. LIKE great dining and performances
