Sounds weird I know but this street Festival is a true combined celebration of both the Chinese and Jewish cultures.
And it doesn’t stop at food. There is also plenty of music including great Klezma music, Peking Opera and other genres.
And there are display and demonstrations of handicrafts such as paper folding as well as lots of others.
It is held on Sunday at Eldridge street between Canal and Division Street, 12 noon to 4.00pm.
The local Eldridge Street synagogue is also open for tours and you can see parts of it in the video.
What a great way to celebrate the rich cultures that together make up the whole NYC experience. LIKE egg rolls ad egg creams
