There are ripples of excitement online about a possible iWatch release by Samsung as early as September 4.
See the video for what looks and sounds like a confirmed version of what it will look like and what it can do.
But do New Yorkers need another device that does what smartphone and tablets do, I mean, really do they?
Apparently this Samsung model will make redundant a wearable fitness device like the Nike Fuelband. So? A whole iWatch that replicates a smart phone in all respects except it has this fitness device as well? Overkill!
Look it will appeal to some and of course Sony, Apple and Pebble are all ready to leap into this market with their versions as well, there are assumptions all round that there’s a market for an iWatch.
The ‘must have the latest and shiniest gadget’ New Yorkers will snap it up probably, but there doesn’t seem a great big gap in the market that this device will fill. COMMENT: do we need an iWatch.
