As a New Yorker what’s important to you about sunglasses or ordinary glasses?
Is it price, is it design or is it the street cred of the company who designs them?
Warby Parker, young, up to the minute new glasses company hits all three criteria.
With a very vintage look, they are making a pitch based on using cheaper but very groovy materials to bring you glasses from under $100 upwards, but not too much upwards. These are meant to be fashionable, cheaper glasses.
See the video to catch their designs and intentions. It’s a newish company, they help others (each pair bought means another pair given to people who can’t afford them) and they think prescription glasses are overpriced.
Glasses have become outrageously expensive. Warby Parker’s designs look good. Go for it. LIKE fashionable and cheap.
