The second part of the Chines New Year Celebrations happen in Chinatown this Sunday.
That is the Annual Parade down Mott street, along East Broadway and up Eldridge to Forsyth.
Expect a large number of whirling, twirling, amazingly colorful Lions and Dragons.
Along with big elaborate floats, marching bands, magicians, musicians, acrobats and local organizations.
The noise level is high and the excitement and goodwill even higher.
Expect lots of red for happiness and gold for wealth in what people wear, the banners and, well, everywhere. It’s one of the most fun and spectacular NYC events so don’t miss out
