It’s sadly a common enough occurance: with a train due any moment a man in his 60′s collapsed and fell onto the train tracks at City Hall Train Station on Friday, see the video.
Immediately 3 men jumped down and got him back up onto the platform with minutes to spare before the train arrived.
Once rescued he started to come around and what happened to him subsequently is not known.
The MTA warned yet again to never get down on the tracks. they advise running towards the tunnel from which the train will come and waving your arms over the tracks which is apparently the signal to tell the operator to stop the train. Um…we’ll try and remember that next time we’re trying to think what to do with a train due and someone in trouble on the tracks.
