it seems suffering is in….yes New Yorker Taylor Swift has ventured into the wilderness of New Zealand (that place where they shot the Ring Cycle) and has shot a video of her singing ‘Out of the Woods’ while she is chased by wolves, falls into mud, perches on dangerous peaks and almost drowns. Yes it’s tough gig being a star.
But fellow New Yorker Leo Di Caprio has one upped her, though technically he did the wilderness thing first having shot ‘The Revanant’ in 2014. In the film Leo is mauled by a grizzly bear, buried alive, floats down rapids, is completely abandoned on his own in terrible wilderness conditions and has to sleep in a dead horse for warmth during a blizzard.
But the take on both efforts is that New Yorkers will do what it takes to bring their art to you even if it means going to the raw and elemental wilderness to do it. So enjoy, it’s all for you. Thank You Taylor, thenk you Leo.
