Over the weekend one of New York’s nicest parks, Tompkins Square, hosted the nation’s largest doggy Halloween Parade, see the video. I’m sure everyone enjoyed it but notice the owners are showing considerably more animation than the long suffering but completely adorable dogs.
There were 275 contestants and a family who had schlepped all the way form Dallas grabbed the prize. If the doggy costumes are anything to go by, expect lots of pirates and dinosaurs when the humans strut their Halloween stuff On October 31st along with plenty of characters from recent films. And it will be certainly interesting see how many nuns and Popes hit the streets.
