Oh boy, football can be hard and so it has proved for Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez, Geno Smith and the Jets generally after their game against the Giants.
See the video for a look at Rex Ryan doing a meltdown as sports journalists were trying to get him to make sense of this game where Smith played badly and Sanchez injured a shoulder.
Now the Jets have brought in Brady Quinn to add a fourth to their roster of Quarterbacks. Will that help?
Let’s put it this way, Geno Smith may be good but he hasn’t shown it yet and how long should he be given to prove it?
Sanchez now has an injured shoulder and it’s becoming increasingly obvious that in addition to his other woes as a non-performing QB, he physically can’t play for probably a few weeks. Where does Quinn fit into the mix?
And Rex Ryan? A guy with bad judgement? A guy with bad luck? Both I’d say. But whichever way you look at it, the Jets are in no shape to do anything glorious in the 2013-14 Season, mores the pity.
COMMENT: No hope for the jets this season?
