In the latest Marvel Comics outing, Hugh Jackman does an incredible turn as the emotionally vulnerable but supremely gifted superhero of choice.
All the necessary must-haves are there, thrilling action sequences, horrible villains, beautiful heroines along with a bulked up hero whose glistening chest carries the weight of the film.
All critics have given Jackman the nod as an actor of sublety and range who totally nails his hero role.
There have been criticisms of the plot however as uneven and following a formula rather than having an organic feel.
The last X Men outing in this franchise was not well received and The Wolverine is acclaimed as a huge improvement.
Regardless of what the critics say this film will live or die at the box office. But everyone agrees, Jackman is a star and he proves it again as the Wolverine. LIKE to see New Yorkers doing well.
