NYC has some great sports bars. How do you pick a favorite? Are you after the number of screens, the food, the beer, the locality or the crowd?
First check out the video clip. This is the “13 Step” in the East village. Who hangs out there? The Frat crowd that’s who. It’s all a lot of fun, but is it your type of fun?
Any self respecting sports bar has a LOT of screens, so that’s a must, so minimum of 6 I say and upwards is a bonus.
Some make their rep on the range of beers on offer, others on the food they serve or how cheap the beer is. Lots of choice.
Here’s some top recommendations to check out: Bounce Sporting Club, Standings, Warren 77, Hill Country, Bleeker Heights Tavern.
When the next big game is on make up a group with your sport loving friends who LIKE watching the game in company, choose a bar to check out and SHARE the experience.
