Right now new Wi Fi Hubs are replacing all the old telephone kiosks in NYC. They are going in first on Third Avenue close to subway stations and when the roll out is completed there will be 7,500 right across all 5 boroughs.
That will put NYC easily in the forefront of connected cities and will make the search for a Wi Fi connection or a place to charge your mobile devices a thing of the past for New Yorkers and tourists.
However security experts are raising concerns about the security of these new hubs.
