The Statue of Liberty has just had it’s second renovation in recent years, this one to the Crown of the Statue.
It will re-open on October 28th, and then you can climb the over 300 steps to the Crown using refurbished steps or even get an elevator if you have a wheelchair.
And there is now temperature control inside. But book first because if you just turn up you can only visit the base of the statue.
You can go right up to the very top and look out of the 25 windows that are part of the Crown itself.
Once there you will have a unique view of NYC and it’s harbor, not to mention having bragging rights about your long climb and visit to see ‘The Lady’.
Invite along friends who LIKE climbing, remember all those steps, then celebrate and SHARE the experience when you get there.
