Veterans Day, Nov 11, is a chance to say thank you all veterans, alive and dead who contributed to building the Nation and keeping it safe.
New York will be marking the day with a Veterans Parade, along with other events.
Those who march will include active officers, veterans groups, junior ROTC members and the families of veterans, plus military units from all branches of the armed services, Medal of Honor recipients and High School bands.
New York always has the biggest parade of all; normally about 25,000 people take part.
On Nov 11, the day starts with a wreath laying ceremony at the eternal flame in madison Square park at 10.am.
The parade proper starts at 11.15am and travels along 5th Ave from 26th St North to 52md St.
Thank you veterans, it is our honor to salute your commitment and bravery. LIKE honouring our veterans
