This video is a Masterclass in how to strike back against the suppliers of shoddy goods. And the bigger they come the harder they fall. The video has been made by Aussie rap artist Teg Sethie and it’s a cry from the heart about having bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee for $60,000 and then having it turn out to be a lemon.
The backstory is that Jeep, which is owned by Fiat, has had a very, very successful TV based sales campaign going in Australia for several years and the lyrics of Teggy’s rap song make it clear that it was images from the ad of the Cherokee effortlessly tackling rugged terrain that influenced his choice of vehicle.
Well the car has had to be towed at least 3 times, it has had multiple and unfixable things go wrong with it and Jeep has refused to either fix it or refund his money. So Teggy has taken his talent and creativity and turned them on the Jeep company. And his rap song has gone viral. Take that Jeep!
Go Teggy, that’s what she should all do, get back at companies that refuse to accept responsibility for the quality of the goods they supply. So New Yorkers next time this happens to you think up a fun and accurate way to bring down hte company that won’t respect your right to receive value for money.
