WiFi and subway are in an uneasy relaqtionship. Are they really going steady or is this more of an on and off relationship? Subway riders know the answer. Subway has a long way to go before WiFi can be relied upon.
Apparently it is getting better, WiFi is around more often in a broader range of places, but is still not always there when needed. The Q line is teerrific and the FifthAve/59th Street station is exceptional. But give the Lexington Ave/53rd Street stop a miss. In other words WiFi is still playing hard to get, New York Post
