That instant signal that lets you know divine food is close by – the long line – is now very much in evidence in Chinatown from 12-9pm everyday.
The people in the the line are inching towards the newly opened Eggloo at 60 Mulberry street which is selling Hong Kong egg waffle sundaes, see the egg waffles being produced int he video. The fully fedged sundae consists a kind of wall of waffle against which rests those staples of supremely popular desserts in NYC: ice cream, sprinkles and/or drizzles of chocolate syrup. They look terrific.
Can’t vouch for how good these taste but it’s obvious there are a lot of New Yorkers keen to find out. Just look at those lines.
